2000 Winter Goodwill Games Sweepstakes

OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") open to all legal residents of the United States, except residents of Florida, age 18 or older, except employees (and their immediate families and household members) of Chevrolet Motor Division, the Goodwill Games ("Goodwill Games"), Turner Network Television, Inc. ("TNT"), Time Warner, Inc. and their respective parents, subsidiaries, trustees, franchisees, participating vendors, distributors, advertising promotion agencies and affiliated entities (collectively the "Sponsors"). Void in Florida and wherever taxed, prohibited or restricted by law. Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to accept and be bound by all terms of these Official Rules and Regulations.

2. HOW TO ENTER: From February 5 - 21, 2000 (the "Promotional Period"), the Goodwill Games will run promotional spots encouraging viewers to watch the 2000 Winter Goodwill Games (the "Event") on Turner Network Television ("TNT") and to log on to the Goodwill Games website, located at http://www.goodwillgames.com, for additional coverage. To enter, viewers must log on to the website and correctly answer a daily trivia question related to the Goodwill Games (the "Daily Question"). A new trivia question will be posted once every twenty-four (24) hour period during the entry period (February 17, 18, 19 and 20) and the Daily Question will also be announced during each night’s broadcast on TNT. The online entry period begins at 8:00 p.m. (ET) on February 17, 2000 and ends at 7:59 p.m. (ET) on February 21, 2000. All entries must be received no later than 7:59 p.m. (ET) on February 18^th, 19th, 20^th and 21^st respectively, in order to be entered for that day’s Daily Question. The answer to each Daily Question may be found somewhere on the website, as well as by watching the Event. All entries must be submitted in the name of an individual person and prizes can only be awarded to the person whose name is on each winning entry. No mechanical reproductions or facsimiles accepted. Not responsible for misdirected, incomplete, lost, late or illegible entries, or other errors or problems of any kind which may limit a participant’s ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. False or deceptive entries or acts will render a participant ineligible. All entries become the property of the Goodwill Games and will not be returned. Limit one (1) entry per person, household or e-mail address per twenty-four (24) hour period.

3. HOW TO WIN: One (1) grand prize winner (the "Grand Prize Winner") and fifty (50) first prize winners (the "First Prize Winners") will be randomly chosen by a representative of the Goodwill Games on or around February 25, 2000 from all correct, eligible entries received by the dates and times specified above (the "Grand Prize Winner" and "First Prize Winners" will collectively be referred to as the "Winners"). The decisions of the judges will be final and binding. The odds of being a Winner will depend on the total number of correct, eligible entries received during the Promotional Period. Winners will be notified by e-mail and confirmed by phone or mail within ten (10) days of the drawing.

4. PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive one (1) 2000 Chevy Blazer LT, at an approximate market value ("AMV") of Thirty-Two Thousand Dollars ($32,000.00). Fifty (50) First Prize Winners will each receive one (1) North Face Winter Sports Pack, at an AMV of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) per First Prize Winner. The North Face Winter Sports Pack includes a jacket, gloves and a backpack. TOTAL AMV OF ALL PRIZES (51 PRIZES): Fifty-Two Thousand Dollars ($52,000.00). No substitution or transfer of prizes or cash redemptions permitted by Winners. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute any prize(s) of like value in the event the described prize(s), or any portions thereof, are unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Grand Prize Winner can choose to pay for upgraded options at his/her expense and evidence of insurance and a valid driver’s license are due upon delivery of the vehicle, or the Grand Prize Winner will be ineligible for the Sweepstakes and will forfeit all prizes. Actual vehicle may vary from promotional photos. Grand Prize Winner is responsible for all expenses not expressly provided for above including, without limitation, taxes, insurance, licensing, registration, maintenance and gasoline. Winners are responsible for reporting and payment of all taxes (if any).

5. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS: By entering this Sweepstakes, participants grant Sponsors the right, unless prohibited by law, to use their names, voices, pictures and likenesses, without compensation, for the purpose of advertising and publicizing the services of the Sponsors and all matters related to the Sweepstakes in any medium, throughout the world in perpetuity. Winners may be required to sign affidavits of eligibility, liability releases, tax acknowledgment forms and, except where prohibited by law, use of name and likeness releases and return within five (5) days of issuance of notification. Failure to do so, or if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a Winner declines his or her prize, will result in disqualification of such Winner and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing at the Sponsors’ discretion. Sponsors will use reasonable efforts to pick an alternate winner but in the event an alternate winner cannot be reasonably determined, the prize will go unawarded. The Sponsors expressly disclaim any responsibility and entrants agree to hold Sponsors harmless for liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to participation in this Sweepstakes or the delivery and/or subsequent use or misuse of any of the prizes awarded.

6.
