Natalie Benson has responsibility for a range of financial, human resource, legal and administrative matters concerned with the planning and delivery of the Games. She is also the Company Secretary.

After graduating with a Commerce Degree in 1985, Natalie commenced her career with Price Waterhouse, where she specialized in Corporate Recovery and Insolvency matters.

After five years in Chartered Accounting, Natalie left Australia to travel and work in the United Kingdom.

During her first two years in the United Kingdom, Natalie worked as a Manager with Price Waterhouse in their London and Bristol Offices on a number of major Corporate Recovery assignments.

Her final years in the United Kingdom were spent consulting to a large County Council on various issues including Management Buy-Outs, Commercialization of Business Units, Competitive Tendering, Organization and Management initiatives, and Change Management.

Prior to joining the organization, Natalie held the position of Commercial Manager with the Queensland Events Corporation.

Natalie is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Management.
