Ferry
The existing Brisbane Transport ferry system
will provide transport to and from all ferry terminals around
Brisbane City and surrounding areas which are serviced by
ferry.
Patrons will need to produce individual Games
tickets for the day of their ticketed event, when travelling
to and from the ticketed event session, to utilise this public
transport option.
In the event a patron is outside the geographic
boundaries of these ferry services, it will be their responsibility
and cost to transport themselves to the nearest ferry terminal.
During the 2001 Goodwill Games, ferries will
operate according to typical commuter timetables and existing
scheduled daily services. Additional ferry services will not
be scheduled.
