People with a Disability - Accessible Shuttle
Transport
For people with a disability, free transfer
shuttles will be provided for patrons to travel from Roma
Street Rail Station to 2001 Goodwill Games venues (only for
ticketed sports events and the Opening Gala).
Persons requiring this service are to notify
the stationmaster on arrival at Roma Street.
This service is available only to persons
with a disability and who are holders of valid 2001 Goodwill
Games sport event or Opening Gala tickets who are travelling
on the day, to and from the event nominated on their ticket.
Free public transport is not integrated
in the ticket price for the non-ticketed sports of Surf Lifesaving
and Triathlon.
With respect to Surf Lifesaving, however,
accessible transport (for patrons with permanent disabilities)
will be provided between Nerang Rail Station and Kurrawa Beach.
