With its long history, Artistic Gymnastics is certain to be a spectator favourite at the 2001 Goodwill Games. The event has provided some of the most breathtaking sporting spectacles over the past 25 years and competition at this year's Games will be no exception.

Forty-six men and 38 women are expected to compete in the Artistic Gymnastics program at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC). Running over five days of competition from Wednesday, August 29 to Sunday, September 2, these world- class gymnasts will showcase the strength, balance and grace the sport demands of its competitors.

Men's events include the all-around, floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar. Women competitors will contest the all-around, vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.
