 As
Media and Public Relations Manager, Janet is responsible for
managing media and publicity in the lead up to, during and
after the 2001 Goodwill Games Brisbane. Her role encompasses
the development of the international media centre, which will
accommodate up to 500 media during the Games.
Janet has previously managed media and public affairs for
two major organisations in Queensland, as state Communications
and Media Manager for AMP Ltd and Public Affairs Manager for
the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
She has extensive media experience, having worked for ABC
Radio and Channel Seven in Brisbane and as a political speech-writer.
