As a popular new addition to the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Trampoline promises to be one of the most exciting events at the 2001 Goodwill Games. Following Australia's success in Trampoline in Sydney, the sport is expected to attract plenty of local support when it makes its Goodwill Games debut at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Spectators at the 2001 Goodwill Games Trampoline competition will be afforded the opportunity to witness some first class action as competitors bounce their graceful array of multiple twists, turns, and somersaults or flips, reaching heights of up to 10 metres.

The format for the 2001 Goodwill Games Trampoline competition will consist of two events - men's and women's individual - and will be held on Wednesday, August 29. Consistent with Goodwill Games format, each event will be finals-only and involve the world's top eight competitors.
