More than 60 of the world’s most talented divers will compete in the Games. In addition to the traditional 1m-springboard, 3m-springboard and 10m-platform competition, the Games feature the new, exciting synchronized diving format in both the 3m springboard and 10m platform. For the first time in a multi-sport event competition, divers will be rewarded for their finishes, competing for thousands in prize money.

FORMAT

  • Eight to 12 individuals per event
  • Six synchronized diving teams (two athletes per team)
  • Finals-only format

  • 1990: China's 11-year-old Fu Mingzia showed the world a glimpse of diving's future when she claimed the 10m platform gold for her first major international title.
