All Days - $48 and $28
The worlds top Olympic skaters will compete in a head-to-head
format. Olympic medalists, such as the USAs Michelle Kwan, Russias Artur
Dmitriev and Oksana Kazakova (pairs) and Anjelika Krylova and Oleg Ovsiannikov (dance)
will highlight the program.
FORMAT:
- Athletes from the USA, Russai and the rest of the world will receive invitations
- The USA, Russia and the rest of the world will each provide three men and three women
individuals, two pairs and two ice-dance entries for each event
- The August 2 exhibition will include figure skating participants and special guests

HIGHLIGHTS OF FIGURE SKATING AT THE GOODWILL GAMES
Goodwill Games figure skating alumni include: Michelle Kwan, Nancy Kerrigan, Viktor
Petrenko, Yekaterina Gordeyeva and Sergei Grinkov.
- 1994: Aleksei Urmanov, the 1994 Olympic gold medalist, skated a
near-flawless performance to take the men's title, finishing ahead of the USA's Todd
Eldredge and France's Phillipe Candeloro. Also, the Russian team of Natalya Mishkutyonok
and Artur Dmitriyev won the pairs title.
- 1990: The USA's Kristi Yamaguchi won her first major international
title, defeating teammate and world champion Jill Trenary.
