Directions to Long Island Venues

Long Island Railroad
For spectators riding the Long Island Railroad from Manhattan or Long Island, there will be free shuttle bus service from the Westbury station and from the Hempstead station to all Long Island competition venues.

(Note: The following directions are for spectators. All of the Parkways on Long Island have height restrictions that won't permit bus traffic.)

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Long Island Competition Venues

Nassau County Mitchel Athletic Complex: Charles Lindbergh Boulevard Take the Belt Pkwy East to the Southern State Parkway (left lane exit). Proceed East on the Southern State Pkwy to the Meadowbrook Pkwy north (exit 22N) Take exit M4 and follow signs to the Coliseum which will take you to Charles Lindbergh Boulevard Once on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, follow signs to Goodwill Games parking

Nassau County Goodwill Games Swimming and Diving Center: Eisenhower Park Take the Belt Pkwy East to the Southern State Parkway (left lane exit). Proceed East on the Southern State Pkwy to the Meadowbrook Pkwy north (exit 22N) Take exit M4 and follow signs to the Eisenhower Park, which will take you to Stewart Avenue east. Stewart Avenue becomes Park Boulevard when you enter Eisenhower Park. Follow signs to Goodwill Games parking in Parking Field 6.

Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum: Hempstead Turnpike (Highway 24) Take the Belt Pkwy East to the Southern State Parkway (left lane exit). Proceed East on the Southern State Pkwy to the Meadowbrook Pkwy north (exit 22N) Take exit M4 and follow signs to Highway 24 west (Hempstead Turnpike). Once on Hempstead Turnpike, then follow signs to Goodwill Games parking.

Stay in the left lane crossing the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and immediately bear left onto the Belt Pkwy East Take the Belt Pkwy East to the Southern State Parkway (left lane exit). Proceed East on the Southern State Pkwy to the Meadowbrook Pkwy north (exit 22N) Take exit M4 and follow signs to the Coliseum which will take you to Charles Lindbergh Boulevard Once on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, follow signs to Goodwill Games parking

Public Transportation: Olympia Airport (OA) Express: 212/964-6233 Take the OA Express to Penn Station. From Penn Station take the Long Island Railroad to Westbury or Hempstead From Westbury or Hempstead take the Goodwill Games shuttle bus to Mitchel Field
