Michael P. (Mike) Plant is president of Goodwill Games, Inc. and vice president of sports properties for Turner Sports, a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS). He is responsible for the overall direction and management of the Goodwill Games, as well as for special sports events acquired by Turner Sports.
David Raith is vice president
of sports for the Goodwill Games. In this capacity, he is
the principal Goodwill Games contact with the participating
U.S. and international sports organizations involved in the
Games. He works with the organizations and the respective
sports federations to determine the sports program, schedule
and athlete invitations for the Games.
Jim Birrell is the Vice President of Operations for the Goodwill Games. As such, he is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Games, including broadcast and technical services. Based in Atlanta, Jim reports to Goodwill Games President, Michael Plant.
Richard (Rick) McNerney is the vice president of marketing for the Goodwill Games. As such, he is responsible for all aspects of marketing for the Goodwill Games - including the 2000 Winter Goodwill Games in Lake Placid and the 2001 Goodwill Games in Brisbane, Australia.
